It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm that the application has been received by the deadline. Please note that an application is not considered a registration; applications are reviewed and approved by a committee, and notification of acceptance will be emailed by the date stated in the application. All training participants must apply, and unregistered participants will not be permitted to attend training.
We recommend remitting your payment at least two weeks prior to the date of training. If it is not possible to get a check processed prior to the training, evidence of the pending payment (such as a copy of a purchase order) may be acceptable at the discretion of PCA North Carolina. In the event we have not received payment by the end of training, a $35.00 late fee will apply.
PCANC strongly encourages all applicants to apply by the deadline outlined in the training application. In the event of extenuating circumstances, applicants may request a late application by contacting the PCANC program liaison. Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis. In the event that a late application is permitted, a $50.00 processing fee will apply.
We regret that refunds cannot be made in cases of last-minute illness or emergency. However, another applicant can attend in place of the confirmed applicant at no additional cost. Please see “Applicant Substitutions” above.
We regret that refunds cannot be made if the training takes place and you do not attend.
If training is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive email notification. If weather becomes bad during the training, we will leave the choice to stay or go up to your personal discretion.
If training is cancelled due to weather, we will reschedule. You will be notified by email of the new training date and will automatically be registered. At that time you will have the choice to revoke your registration if you cannot make the new date (with full refund), or to move your registration to a new date.
Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina reserves the right to modify training policies as needed to best serve participants’ needs.
