Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Erin Meehan as the organization’s new Evaluation Director, effective August 9, 2022.
In her most recent role as Evaluation Manager, Meehan assisted PCANC’s Evaluation Team with the collection and use of data to support and inform the organization’s projects and mission.
As PCANC continues to focus on evidence-based programs and policies, Meehan will be responsible for a more senior-level leadership position, focusing on strategic planning and management oversight of the agency’s evaluation processes, as well as building and managing a cohesive team to support the evaluation goals across the organization. She is committed to using data to recommend, select, implement, and improve programs and policies that prevent child abuse and neglect and to monitor our progress towards expected outcomes. Meehan started with PCANC as an Evaluation Associate in June of 2021.
“We are grateful to have Erin leading our evaluation work, as she brings knowledge and experience to supporting teams across the agency in understanding data to inform and improve outcomes,” said Sharon Hirsch, PCANC President & CEO. “While she has only been with the agency a little over a year, Erin has demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration in her commitment to ensuring PCANC effectively adheres to its value of being a data-driven organization.”
