Pitt County

In 2018, Sharon Hirsch (PCANC CEO) and Deborah Day (Community-Based Programs Administrator, NC DHHS, DSS, Child Welfare) presented to the Community Child Protection Team (CCPT) and they collectively agreed to bring Community Prevention Action Planning to Pitt County after it was identified as a ready county. Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children agreed to be the backbone organization and lead this work.

The Community Prevention Action Plan is under construction.
