Recognizing & Reporting
Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina offers a day-long "Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect: Training for Professionals Working with Children" at various times throughout the year. This training is an introductory level training that will provide information on:
- What is child abuse & neglect?
- The signs and effects of child abuse & neglect.
- What is the North Carolina law on reporting child abuse & neglect?
- How do I report child abuse & neglect?

The registration fee includes lunch, certificate of attendance for 4.5 contact hours, and various training materials and resources for your own use. The training has been approved for 0.45 CEUs (4.5 contact hours) through Greensboro AHEC, these credits are available for $10.00.
